Last night at Alfano's, we enjoyed delicious meals served by our attentive waiter, Jefferson. The Ceasar Salad made tableside was an interesting experience, and worth the wait. Service was impeccable. Meal portions were generous and well-flavored, and our drinks were delectable. Creme brulee ended our evening with perfect sweetness.

The absolute best Italian food we have ever had! There were 4 in our party, all ordered different meals and all agreed it was the best Italian food we had ever had. The escargot was so amazing that we ordered 2 more baskets of their delicious bread to sop up the sauce from it. The service & atmosphere matched the quality of the food. Such an enjoyable evening. Prices were very reasonable for the delicious food that is served. Will definitely return and when we have family & friends visit we will treat them to this wonderful restaurant!

Excellent food service and ambiance. I had flamed duck and my husband has osso bucco. Very good. They have specials and nice tables. Bar very good as well. They also do functions like weddings etc.

A bit upscale, so likely only going here for special occasions, but the food was great. The wine list is fantastic with plenty of selections. I did have to choose 2 as the first selection was out of stock. Our server was really nice, but we could tell he was new to the restaurant as he needed to seek answers from others on more than one occasion. Overall, great Italian restaurant.

Great food! Amazing customer service! It was our first time visiting and our server Nick made the experience so pleasant. He was very attentive and kind. Offered great drinks and food recommendations and we even got the history of the restaurant. The food was fresh and very tasteful. Everything was really nice. My husband and I really appreciate good service, so for this reason we will definitely return. Recommended!

First I want to be sure it is understood I have eaten in many fancy upscale restaurants...from Costa Rica to Canada. I called to make my reservation for my son's birthday. When we arrived it was so much better than my expectations!! We were escorted to a private room. They had a birthday hat on the table. They served him a slice of WONDERFUL Carrot Cake with a candle and allowed us to shut the pocket doors and sing Happy Birthday. The service and food were so good. I have included pictures and the flaming duck was delicious!!

Alfano's Italian Restaurant is a charming and cozy restaurant located here in Clearwater that maintains an old-style Italian-American atmosphere. The waitstaff, dressed in black-and-white uniforms, are knowledgeable about the menu and regular customers. Their menu includes a range of dishes, such as pasta, fresh seafood, and elevated treats like Scallops Rockefeller, Escargot, Cannelloni Florentine, and my favorite, Lamb Chops Scottadito! During my recent visit with a party of ten, we were seated at a large round table in the dining room, under a large garden umbrella that had a "Tuscan Garden" vibe to it. The atmosphere was comfortable and charming, with beautiful, interesting Italian touches throughout. The service was exceptional, and we did not feel rushed at all, allowing us to enjoy our dining experience at a leisurely pace. The food was fresh, and delicious, and arrived at our table hot and on time. The appetizer of Scallops Rockefeller was delightful. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Their wine list is extensive, with many great choices, and they even have a wine cellar that has a table you can book for a private party. The General Manager, James Jerichow, an affable young man, was kind enough to show us around and share the history of Alfano's, along with interesting stories of some of their previous diners, such as Margaret Thatcher (yes, the Iron Lady herself has enjoyed dining at Alfano's). Overall, we had a great time, and the restaurant truly exceeded our expectations. Alfano's Italian is my go-to restaurant when friends and family are visiting, as it never disappoints! I highly recommend Alfano's to anyone who enjoys great Italian food, desserts, and friendly service. Go and enjoy! Trust me, you won't be disappointed, and you can thank me later! Update: I'm back again for dinner with friends visiting from NY for the Lamb and Scallops Rockefeller, I added the delicious table side Cesar salad and the Seafood Capri! Outstanding! Everyone raved about their meal! Looking forward to a return visit.
